About

A pedagogy
rooted in the workshop.

The Academy is not a traditional training program. Our apprentices join a Dev-id workshop (Marseille, Toulouse, Paris or Annecy) for 9 to 12 months, combining theoretical courses and real client projects.

Each apprentice is paired with a companion, a senior who shares their craft, tools and reflexes. Cohorts are deliberately small (8 to 12 people) to preserve the quality of transmission.

At the end of the program, 85% of our apprentices join Dev-id or one of our partners. The rest start their own studio or continue into engineering school.

Apple Foundation Program & Advanced

From discovering iOS to building a career, the Dev-id Academy delivers both courses in partnership with Simplon.

Apple Foundation Program (AFP)

Four weeks to explore UX/UI design, learn the basics of Swift and SwiftUI, and build an iOS app prototype as a team. A practical first experience to help confirm your career goals.

Go further with the Swift Application Designer and Developer course. Design, development, data and deployment: build iOS apps and prepare for a French professional qualification at bachelor’s level, with practical experience through work-study training.

Design and implement an AI solution

IT professionals

IT professionals, expand your expertise with AI. Taught by Marianne, this upskilling programme with Simplon covers data preparation, model training and deploying AI solutions into production. Through practical scenarios, learn to integrate AI into your applications, monitor its performance and improve it over time.

José is a trainer at the Dev-id Academy. He comes from mobile development and helps apprentices become rigorous, effective developers.

Samuel

Eco-design & mobile

Samuel is a developer focused on eco-design. He builds applications that use fewer resources without hurting the experience, and teaches other developers how to do the same.

Virginie

Design & accessibility

Virginie is a UI/UX designer with over ten years of experience. At the Academy, she teaches interface design: user journeys, accessibility and visual rigor.

Marianne

AI trainer · Simplon

Marianne teaches the ‘Design and implement an AI solution’ course with Simplon. She supports IT professionals from data preparation to model deployment. Her approach uses practical scenarios, with attention to performance and ethical considerations.
